Residents of Tinmouth, Middletown, Wells, Pawlet and Rupert: I recently attended a well moderated debate between Robin Chesnut-Tangerman, the incumbent and a Progressive/Democrat and Jonas Rosenthal, a Republican, candidates for the State Legislature representing these five towns. My take away from this lengthy event was that I will cast my vote for Robin. He presented well thought out and carefully considered responses to the questions posed, with an effort to acknowledge and consider all points of view. Having served two years in the Legislature, Robin is an independent voice, working across the aisles, and earning tri-partisan support. He is a good listener and an effective mediator, helping disparate views come to compromise. I believe he will represent us well.
I urge every voter in the five towns to vote absentee now, or head to the polls in your town on November 8. I hope you will join me in casting your vote for Robin.
